The 2009 Honda Jazz is pretty much similar to its previous model, except the new sheet metal used for its production. The metal sheet used in this model is little chunkier than the previous one. The new Jazz looks almost like the sports Civic Type R model. When you compare the latest Honda Jazz with the previous model, the tailgate is shorter and the sides of the vehicle are more dynamic.

The vehicle is offered in three different trim levels – the Base GLi that produces 73 kilo watts of power with the 1.3 liter engine, the VTi that produces 88 kilo watts and the top featured VTi-S that adds up a sportier rear and comes with the following noticeable features:
• trendy front bumper,
• cruise control,
• side skirts,
• eather steering wheel and
• the 16 inch alloy wheels.

The dual front air bags and the ABS brakes along with the electronic force brake distribution are standard in all the range models of Jazz. The 1.3 liter engine uses only 5.8 liters per 100 kilo meters when equipped with the five speed manual transmission, while the other 1.5 needs 6.4 liters to cover the same distance and with the same five speed manual gear box. The five speed automatic transmission is provided as optional to the 2009 Jazz model. The VTi-S automatic gets two steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.

The suspension in the vehicle has been changed in the 2009 Jazz model. The steering of the new Jazz has been redesigned with a cool 9.8 meter turning circle and the revamped torsion beam at the rear side, which improves handling.
